A native of Wendell, Idaho, Sean Goodbody is a 2007 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A., magna cum laude, Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) where he played fullback and running back for Penn’s football program.
Sean graduated from University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2011. At Berkeley, he was an Articles Editor with the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law and worked in a low-income law clinic, negotiating on his clients’ behalf against credit card companies and debt collectors. He also worked as a judicial extern for federal workers’ compensation judges in San Francisco.
Sean Goodbody joined the firm in 2012, and has focused his practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury matters. He has represented hundreds of injured workers in a diverse range of matters. Sean has argued workers’ compensation cases before the Colorado Court of Appeals and at the Industrial Claims Appeals Office. Due to his extensive experience and accomplishments since his admission to the bar, Sean has been selected to the Colorado Rising Stars list in Super Lawyers Magazine every year since 2018.
Sean is a member of the state bars of Colorado, New Mexico, and Oregon, and of the Workers’ Compensation Educational Association. He became a shareholder of Withers Seidman Rice Mueller Goodbody P.C. in 2017.
